Sustainability

Wood

I purchase my wood from a local supplier who source their wood from Finland.

This  beautiful Nordic wood  is 100% renewable - they plant 4 new saplings for every tree harvested.

It is 100% traceable and from 100% sustainable forests.

They promote the responsible ecological management of, and safeguard biodiversity in all of their forestry operations.

My wood is faced on MDF which sadly is not currently recycled but is made from waste and inferior materials which would otherwise be wasted. As always I encourage my couples to keep hold of their beautiful wooden signs and they almost always do!

Acrylic

Green Cast is the worlds first and only 100% recycled acrylic manufacturer.

They create the highest quality acrylics using 100% recycled and 100% recyclable materials without causing unnecessary harm to the earth.

ALL clear Acrylic is made from 100% recycled plastic.

All large frosted Acrylic sheets made from 100% recycled plastic.

All large coloured Acrylic sheets made from 100% recycled plastic.

Smaller items of the frosted and coloured Acrylic is Perspex.

I am working SO hard to find a supplier to do the smaller items in the recycled material!

Please do let me know if you are wanting the smaller items in the Green Cast brand - I can create you an eco friendly alternative to compliment your larger eco conscious signs!

I do ask my clients to recycle where possible after their special day. Most couples like to keep their larger signs and I always ask to encourage your guests to take home their acrylic place names - these double up as lovely little keepsakes. As I buy these items directly I do not end up with any extra pieces. Any test pieces are either sold and kept or displayed in my own home.

Other Items

My agate slices are always kept and taken home - which is fab.

My baubles are kept for years and used over and over on your beautiful trees.

My prints of course are kept and hung in homes.
