Welcome to your wedding signage and stationery wording guide. I am so excited to start designing some gorgeous pieces for your wedding day.

Please read through this page thoroughly and provide all information asked for. This helps to keep the process as efficient as possible and prevents back and forth emails.

Please email over your wording in either a Google Doc or Google Spreadsheet. If this isn’t accessible to you then straight into the email is also accepted, but please follow the example layouts in this guide. No hand written items or screen shots will be accepted.

Important information

PLEASE CHECK ALL SPELLING, GRAMMAR AND CASING!! The final pieces I work from will be the mock up designs, so please check the spelling on these when they come through.

Once you email over your wording, a digital mock up will be emailed over within 7 days. A reply to first round of mock up designs is required within 5 days of receiving them. Second and third round of amendments require feedback/confirmation with 1 day. Any very late confirmation or feedback may result in a delay in your items and delivery or the addition of a rush fee. I provide up to three revisions per mock up for free. Any additional amendments are charged at £35 per mock up, regardless of how extensive the changes are.

Please note a lot of my signage is hand-painted and won't look as 'digital’ as the mock ups. All colours in the mock up designs are a representation and may not look exact in person, screen colours and colour perception varies. Printed colors on fabrics also will look slightly different to the screen colours.

If you are having fabric signs, it is your job to measure the area you intend to display them or measure the frames AND let me know this information. The way I design and display the text will be important and we need to make sure it displays correctly with your chosen method. AKA we dont want the text on the floor if your frame is too short. If you do not provide me with the frame height or display height, I will design your banner to a standard frame height and to the best of my knowledge.

If you need to amend anything after you have approved the mock ups and after the work has commenced, get in touch as soon as possible. There will be amendment charges for any changes, and the charges will depend on how easily I can amend the sign, the cost of a re print + delivery and the extension of the amendment. Sometimes it will not be possible to re print or amend your items once the mock ups are approved, this is case by case and I can discuss this with you.

Any changes to your wording need highlighting in RED so I can find it easily, along with a brief description. For example, if you are removing some names, put all removed names in RED and then say “KATE” removed etc. This means I don’t have to re read your whole document to find the changes, I can locate them fast!

Example of different table plan layouts:

I would call this a “normal” layout, can be any different table amount and be displayed vertically or horizontally. I will choose the amount of tables per row depending on your tablle amount for the best design.

Below is called a “banquet” style layout. Can be any amount of tables, can be vertical or horizontal. If you have more than 3 tables I will likely suggest horizontal but I will liaise with you on this. I will create the best design/balance for your amount of guests and tables.
